Jared Kernahan
Landscape Architectural Technologist
From a young age, Jared developed an interest in both computers and the outdoors. Merging both interests led him to pursue a career in Landscape Architectural Technology. With his knowledge base of many computer applications, and his recent studies in landscape architectural technology, he hopes to bring outdoor spaces to life in a digital context – then witness the progression from design to the built environment.
Jared’s time at NAIT taught him the technical aspects that go into landscape design and how to apply that knowledge as a landscape architectural technologist. He is skilled in a variety of 2D and 3D drafting, modeling, and rendering programs, which allow him to create and develop the necessary features of a landscape project.
