Matt Hedges

Landscape Architectural Technologist

Matt has 16 years of experience as a Technologist and is the firm’s CADD manager. Matt is a detail-oriented problem solver, with a particular interest working on large scale, complex projects.He is experienced in preliminary and detailed construction design, 3D modeling, graphic presentation, working drawing preparation and design coordination. Matt also has a horticultural background, leveraging his knowledge of native plants in ground cubed commissions.

Matt is a constructive balance of technical expert and artist. He believes in practical detailed solutions that prove timeless, are constructible and recognize maintenance and life cycle practices. Matt is the senior technical lead at ground cubed and is the firm’s visualization artist. He maintains expertise in a full complement of technical and design communication software platforms.

Matt has provided the technical support on ground cubed’s largest commissions. He is integral to the process from design conceptualization through to contract documents. In this capacity he aides in the visual articulation of emerging ideas through to the detailed execution of highly customized site solutions.

Matt is process and detailed driven, always maintaining focus toward the end goal and project deliverables. A perfectionist at heart, Matt takes pride in his ability to deliver quality project documents and ensuring that the design detail, and its articulation, is of the highest quality. His meticulous nature guides his approach, and his thoughtfulness shapes his commitment to quality and excellence.
