Michael Chamberlain

Landscape Architectural Technologist

Growing up in rural Alberta, Michael developed an appreciation for nature and an early curiosity with how people interact with their environments. With a mix of experience working in landscaping, horticulture and in the garden back home, he hopes to apply a practical sense to how we design the spaces that enrich our lives. Michael has spent many years exploring different mediums as an amateur artist and considers creativity a fundamental part of his background.

Michael’s studies in Landscape Architectural Technology at NAIT in Edmonton have provided him with practice in the technical aspects of design development, as he is versed in several drafting, modeling and rendering programs. Furthermore, he is no stranger to conceptual thinking and is ecstatic at the problem-solving opportunities of landscape design and placemaking.
